The Gilmore is a passion project, imagining a cozy seaside inn along the rugged coast of Maine. Its palette is grounded with warm, lived-in browns that evoke comfort and nostalgia, and a blue that is reminiscent of the beautiful water that can be seen from each room. The project features a custom illustration of the inn’s facade and a suite of branded elements, including a room key tag, postcard, and other keepsakes — designed to explore how design can be experienced physically, not just visually. Together, they capture the timeless charm of a welcoming coastal retreat.
